Prathishta Mahotsavam at Mavadykavu Sree Bhadrakali Sastha Temple

We are delighted to announce the Prathishta Mahotsavam (Deity Installation Ceremony) at the historic Mavadykavu Sree Bhadrakali Sastha Temple, a momentous event set to be held on March 10, 2025 (Kumbham 26 as per the Malayalam Calendar). This divine ceremony, scheduled between 10:46 AM and 12:49 PM, marks the formal consecration of the sacred deities, invoking their spiritual presence and blessings for all devotees.

The Mahotsavam will commence with a series of special poojas and rituals, including the Narayaneeya Parayanam, a revered chanting of the Narayaneeyam, invoking divine energies and spiritual upliftment. The main highlight of the event is the ceremonial Prathishta (installation) of the deities of Sree Bhadrakali and Lord Ayyappan, symbolizing the divine establishment of their celestial presence within the temple sanctum.

Devotees from across the region are invited to take part in this grand spiritual celebration, which promises a day filled with divine vibrations, traditional prayers, and offerings. Special poojas, including Ganapathi Homam, Mrityunjaya Homam, and various offerings (Vazhipadu), will be conducted throughout the day, allowing devotees to seek blessings for prosperity, health, and protection.
